Collaborative Medical Outreach

Fr. Aries A. Nepomuceno, TOR, an active TOR friar in medical mission together with the OFS of Manticao.

On May 23, 2026, the Parish Social Action-Health Ministry of St. Anthony de Padua Parish of Manticao, Misamis Oriental, the Order of Franciscan Seculars (OFS) and the Franciscan Youth (YOUFRA) of Manticao and the Third Order Regular of St. Francis (TOR) have done a medical mission to two communities of the municipality of Manticao under the chapels of Commonal and Pagawan.


The total number of beneficiaries was 72 individuals. The said activity included free medical check up and medicines, 5 kls. rice per family, snacks and lunch and giving of slightly used clothing.



Dr. Rosana T. Tuazon, OFS led the team in this medical mission.

Third Order Regular of St. Francis — Philippines

The Third Order Regular of St. Francis of Penance or simply the Third Order Regular of St. Francis is a mendicant order rooted in the Third Order of St. Francis which was founded in 1221. The members add the nominal letters T.O.R. after their names to indicate their membership in the congregation.
